Art & Inspiration Cars with unique matching trailers

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, Feb 3, 2025.

  1. We our girls were small and I was driving a 1940 Ford DeLuxe sedan we did a lot of traveling to different shows around the country, just before we left for the NSRA Columbus
Nats I finished up a repo Mullins trailer, for a guy with 3 females in tow you definitely need the room, especially when your on the road for a week.

I haven't used the Mullins in years but I have always liked the thinking outside the box when it came to building a trailer that matched the car that was towing it, this Cadillac is the cats pajamas!

Did you see the GNRS parking coverage? Some great examples shown.

  3. No sir, but thank you for pointing the cars out, I looked at several GNRS threads and found a couple of interesting cars & custom trailers.

I really like the lowrider. HRP

  5. Sorry not matching. But if you have a 36 Dodge or Plymouth delivery, your welcome to this one. lol I built this old camper trailer in the early 80's. The wife and I would sleep in it between Motel nights to help save money. A farmer gave me the rear half of the delivery for free. Photos are from back then, and how it looks now. 138.jpg 014.jpg 316.jpg

    That's a slick piece!
Bet the people looking for Riviera sheetmetal "pucker" when they see it.
By the way, did y'all notice how many Riv's were at the GNRS.
In my mind, they are the classiest cars GM ever built.

Nearly bought that off BaT as high bidder, was Larry Daisy's (RIP) personal set-up, and I had bought a lot of parts from him when I had my '63 Riviera. I'm in touch with the current owner if anyone is interested in it, told him I'd help him out after I didn't end up purchasing it. Both are absolutely gorgeous. Fella named Lou built the trailer when he did his "roadster" Riviera, Larry bought the trailer and redid it to match his car.
