Hey leadhead51 you eather have a good eye or have been sneaking around here or know someone here too know that. Since the last pics posted we have already wet block sanded the clear top coat to remove the slightest imperfection. Then we let it set a few days to air out before laying down the finall top coats of clear that will be cut and buffed

Here is the newest color test pannel for the candy paint that will be going on the dash and the lower sides of the body. It's done with a gold base with fine & small silver flake under a few coats of a custom mix candy.

 

Dig this build! I have always wanted a Merc (me and everyone else) and I love a ride with a nice Carson top, so this one hits it right on the head. You guys do amazing work and I'll be sure to bring you a Merc to build as soon as I hit the Powerball! LOL
