I just purchased an offy dual quad setup, and it came with a pair of Carter AFB's, both of which are casting #D8 3721S3, which apparently is a factory carb for a 300hp 327 chevy in 1965, 575cfm. Both carbs need a full rebuild kit, along with some other things, such as linkages that are missing, chokes, etc etc. Is there someone on here who can steer me in the right direction on finding parts, and how to make this pair run on my 327? Thanks!
well only one will have a choke, had to get both to work the same (all muti cabs ). as for parts, try speedway parts they will even have a progessive linkage set up. that is like orig.
You will be surprised at what you can get across the parts counter with the right number. Don't call, carry them into a good parts house like NAPA, not a discount place (read Auto Zone).
