Projects Carter w1 lube

    I have a 574s w1 that I just rebuilt. Not exactly sure how to lubricate it. from what I've read, it just says in the hole where the screw for the dust cover is is where you put some graphite grease. But that doesn't seem like it would do much.

    I use a few drops of engine oil , once a yr seems ok for my use

    You need to lubricate the metering rod / accelerator pump pivot arm where it goes through the aluminum housing ( carb top ). A drop or two of oil should do fine.
