I didn't even look at the picture, as this is a WCFB thread.

Some of the marine 4-Jets are 700 CFM; makes a wonderful "street sleeper". "See, I still have the original little Rochester on this engine, how do you think it would run if I put on a Carter or a Holley carb?"!

These marine 4jets look like no real estate left for throttle blades.

They are quite similar to the 4GC that came on a 340 HP 409.

WCFB - Leather accelerator pumps. Where can I get them. Accel pump seals in rebuild kits seem easily damaged by alcohol blended fuels.

There are a few on Ebay if you know exactly what you are looking for, and the Ebay vendor has exactly what you want. There were quite a few different accelerator pumps used in the various WCFB carbs.

Otherwise, the leather pumps are included in the better rebuilding kits.

Would be nice if it were that simple.

Some are vented, others are not.

Some are articulated, others are not.

Some attach with a slot and round hole at the top, most with a round hole only.

If you have an identification tag number, I can look up the part number of the pump.

not just Chevrolet. I advise you to get extended idle adjustment screws for the rear carb.. a 1/4” open end ignition wrench will come in handy. IMG_4007.jpeg

What he said ^^ I had the same issue with the WCFB's on my Edmonds Cad manifold. Those adjustment screws make all the difference in the world.

    Accelerator pump part number 7013472.

If you are unable to find the pumps alone, rebuilding kits containing leather pumps are available.
