putting a dual quad intake on my 62 Cadillac 390. The setup I purchased came with two Carters (a 2016s and a 2347s). I was unaware they were not the correct carbs at the time of purchase.

I want to maintain a period possible setup and not break the bank. Hoping I can use these two.

Any insight into the CFM on either/both? Carter published nothing on the CFM.

    Thank you in advance.

Hello, I will let others debate if these carbs can be used in a dual quad set up. What I'll add is what I found with a quick search. This came from the Antique Small Engine Collector Club website. #2016s reports to be a WCFB from a 1953 Olds and #2347s a WCFB from a 1956 Buick. My gut says you might need different carbs, but.....
    Good luck! -Dave

Quiz: What did WCFB stand for? (long time ago...)

You will at least need a set of matching carbs for your project.
Personally, I would try to match the Buick carb with another. Another means EXACTLY the same: ie Model & List numbers the same.
BUT, before you do anything, make sure you can configure a linkage setup that will work with the carb(s).

Thanks. Yeah Google quickly finds thier application. Will definitely need matched carbs. Concerned that neither can be detuned enough to work. Carter wcfb ran 375-500 CFM but no documentation on these two specifically making it difficult to know where to start.

If your manifold is a stock iron 331'' Cad taking small base carbs, it may not match the ports closely enough to seal.
Thought WCFB was White Cast Four Barrel. AFB is Aluminum 4 bbl., right ???
