how can i tell if the dropped axil i bought at a flea market years ago is cast or forged?? paid $75 for it , has the 2 in. perches and looks a lot like my old mordrop axil.. i took a grinder and the sparks look the same as sparks from the orig. 34 axil????
Post a picture of the axle. I have installed several MorDrop axles, that I got from Marty, just before his p***ing. The sparks from a forging will be bright. From a casting, they will be dim, and cherry red.
