1952-59 Ford Caster adjustment

    Over on the HAMB forum a tbird guy posted this comment. "Some guys have spaced the lower arm forward a bit, which improves the range of caster adjustment. You want all you can get, my bird topped out at 1 to1 1/2 degree before I modified it. With power steering, 3 degrees makes it track a lot better"

    I started a conversation with him about an explanation but he said he had read about the mod on some other forum. I didn't think to ask him how he modified his, but I ***ume another way?????? Anyone familiar with such a modification?

    Check The Ford Barn, I may have seen it there and there a lot of 'Bird guys on it. With the engine so far behind the a-arms (compared to other Fords), more caster is a good thing. It will steer easier and ride better at higher speeds.
