Ok Im running a Mallory VI AL amplifier with a mallory dual point dizzy. In the installation guide it says not to use solid core wires. Heres the question...Is the reason for this because of the greater possibility for spark jump? or noise suppression? It also recommends non resistered plugs. So Im thinking more towards spark jump.Im not running any tunes so that aint gonna bother me. It might be fun to mess with peoples radios when i pull up next to them though.

  2. just use the standard resistive spark plug wire like they want. you need the resistance to dampen the really high voltage spikes that happen due to the capacitor discharge. so it's not about messing with the radio or anything, it's about keeping all your ignition system in good working order. four-thirteen
