Event Coverage Cedar Rapids swap meet!

Well its that time of year for the Cedar Rapids swap meet, Oct 4-5. So what are going to look for?

 

Is it a pretty good swap for traditional stuff?

 

No rain or heavy wind's. A bigger turn out means more venders, more part's.

 

It's average for this 'trad' thing has only been popular for a much shorter time than the swap meet held here.

 

If the weather holds it has a great vendor turn out and yes there is traditional parts for sale too!

 

I will be there. Buddy and I will vend flathead stuff 36 ford grill 1960s hot rod magazines etc

 

So far the weather don't sound to bad maybe a little cool but that's ok.

 

Iron Invasion is this weekend in Woodstock Illinois so John will not have his Torque Fest / Retro Rewind booth at the CR swap meet. Are any HAMBers with a booth willing to hand out TF and RR postcards for us? If so, send me a PM with your address and I will get some mailed to you.

 

Sounds like I might need to break out my coat and gloves for this Saturday, might be a little chilly early!

Going to be there about 7:15 am tomorrow, sounds like its going to be in the 30s for temps!

 

I have some early (49-62) Cadillac parts including a Weiand 2x4 intake and a U-Fab 4x2 that is ready-to-go. Like usual, I'll probably have a little something for everyone. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
