Great post Ryan, I have a '49 Suburban and Cerny's car was one way I wanted to go with it.( The first build) The one thing I wanted to see in this car was how the Caddy fitted in. These have a pretty tight engine bay. Were any shots of the engine bay ever published?
Interested in seeing how it fitted around the steering box.

I don't mind them unchopped, sort of like two boxes on top of three.

Here is another that had a panel delivery makeover.

I Love that Custom Wagon,In 1997 I drove my 64 Chevy Wagon from Minneapolis to Paso and back. That was the year I got a Long Distance Aaward for driving to the show. Here's my Plaque. I also saw the car in its restoration at Paso(2005 or 2006?) I'll have to check my video. I donated $20 towards the resto and got a T-Shirt.

Does anyone know if George is the same guy that ran a Junior Fueller, nitro injected S/B Chev. If so does anyone have any pics of the car, it was a Woody Gilmour Ch***is, Enderle injection, '54 Pontiac/ Olds rear end, standard deal for the day.

Dear Friend : I am Deeply moved by the amount of bust *** work and detail that you obviously poured down on this Short From the Shaved doors to the Slammed Stance, Your Wagon Make's my 2 dr 64 look sick I didn't really know what the hell I wanted out of My 64 Dodge except to say that I was very interested in the NMCA NOSTALGIA DRAG EVENTS THAT TAKE PLACE EVERWHERE NOWADAYS . But It breaks My heart to say that A**** Us WE Live in a Society of COMMON CROOKS ... Guy's My wife took I'll and had to have a very Radical Hesterectomy because of some cancer so after the Hospital stay I Opted to take her to the Quiet Beaches of Maine to My Father's Beach house where My Bombshell could recoup anf while We were gone I figured that I would Take My Dodge and roll it out in front of the Shop in the Summer shade to finish curing well guy's Some LOW LIFE STOLE MY DREAM CAR ... Yep My COLOR ME GONE WAS COLOR ME STOLEN and because the car was Not registered or on the road the Cop's could care less. anyway that was a few yrs ago and I'm still looking, well My dream Car TO BE 1964 Dodge model 330 2dr sedan that I poured My heart and soul out on for over 2 yrs fabricating nearly every panel I had to replace because I could Not find them to easy so Fabwork was a MUST I even custom blended the Blue I painted it so it closily reasembled the Roger Lindamood Color Me Gone 64 Super Stock Dodge that I so wanted My dodge to be ! I put up with **** my friends dished out as they were all in agreement that My dodge looked Like an "OLD MAN CAR" even though they liked the Lindamood 64 Color Me Gone car that Mine was not going to be because of some lowlife crooks that feel as though they are above the work necessary to make one from scratch ! the pride that wells up from inner self when you stand back and look at what your efforts have produced and the feeling you get from a friend when He reaches out to shake your hand on a Job well done ... My heart broke the night some MTHR Fer decided He wanted to take the fast track to glory without NONE of the Effort and teamwork that is a part of the total package because WE know the work involved in such an undertaking . Guy's I would be lying if I told you it's OK I'll build another one ... The REALITYS ARE NOT THAT WAY ... Since My Divorce {Yep the Bombshell} I've not even seen another 64 dodge 330 2dr not to mention the fact that the Purchasing of this Farm BROKE THE PIGGY BANK and because of the Credit score I was Stuck with after the Big D the Broker could only get Me 70% Financed which Meant every Dime I had was needed at closing ! so the 30 K I had left after the BIG D was up in smoke the day I closed so shopping around for an Over priced Clunker some silly ***ed fool has in his Back yard under 4 ft of Wood and gr*** say's He can get 4 grand cause He watched Barrett Jack*** and they all get Hundereds of Thousands ??? anyway Guys I'm Bitter I'm angry I'm Nasty AND FEELING uGLY AS HELL...

ya he's the same guy (my step dad) he also ran top gas, with partner Jim Annin, and later top fuel. and I have a few pictures of most of his cars.

  14. I've always loved this car and when it was missing, I collected many of the pieces to clone it (except maybe not the flames) after I found my first wagon ( I bought three) I was given a belvedere hardtop. at that time I figured that I could go a step further than George and hardtop it.
The Belveder has a 7 inch longer wheelbase than the suburban. so I kept the boxie short wheel base.
I have all the parts to finish the clone except the 55 dodge trim

I guess I should noticed this was an old post and read all before posting. but I really like Georges wagon and mine too. I think mine with the working quarter windows add something over the long quarter gl*** conversions
