This time last year, I was at Bonneville. I'm not there now, obviously, and won't be next week either. My heart is broken, but it just isn't in the cards. Too much to do, too much to prepare for... Th...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Thanks for the photos Ryan and Slim.... I was just looking at the Revell model kit of that car 10 minutes ago.. Damn, there's a lot of parts in that kit.
Back in 04 they brought the Challenger out to B'ville for the Burt Munroe movie. It was quite the treat to see it on the salt again.
Can you imagine what would have been in store for Mickey had that scum not had him and his wife Trudy killed. He just floated from one quest to another during is life with this one probably being the most exciting. RIP Mickey Frank
So as I'm watching this video, I'm over come with the urge to get up, leave work and go to the salt...Thanks Ryan!
Very cool footage! Thanks. I, too, will be missing Bonneville Speed Week this year. It really*****s, but I am looking forward to the HAMB Drags like no other... Can't wait! Malcolm
Outstanding footage, that's a real treasure. Powered by 4 Pontiacs, shifted by 4 Cadillacs. Others have gone faster, but 50 years later, I believe this still stands as the record for a piston-driven car.
