Has anyone been successful in converting a 38 Ford humpback into a slantback? I have an s**** 37 Slantback I could use. Both have major rot problems around the tailpan. The slantback fenders are mint, the humpback's need lots of work. Looking for your thoughts and recomendations. ( I can hammerweld)

    Thanks,
    Dave

Changing the rear pan is only the begining of a lot of had work. You need the back of a second car to get the job done! I think!

I have the back half of a slantback. It has a rusted out tail pan. The humpback has a rusted out tailpan. I have good slantback fenders and bad humpback fenders. I know I will have to buy a tailpan. I'm hoping I can take my good slantback fenders and new tailpan along with whatever I need off the s**** slantback and replace the bad tailpan and bad fenders on the good humpback. Does anyone know why this could not be done?

    Thanks,
    Dave
