1952-59 Ford change ignition lock cylinders

    Hello,

    I don't know how to change the ignition lock cylinders on my 54 ford customline. There is a special tip ?

    Insert the ign. key, turn it to the acc. side ( to the left). There should be a small hole in the lock ***embly. Insert a paper clip into the hole and depress the detent spring while turning the key to the left a little farther. This should release the cylinder ***embly and it should pull straight out. Just reverse the procedure to install the new lock. You won't need the paper clip to install the new lock.
