Projects change sport cpe into 5 w cpe

hi I was wondering is it possible to change a 28-29 model a sport cpe into a 5 window cpe with a 30-31 5 window roof? don't know if the two bodys would mate up even. thanks

28/29 tops bolted on.. 30/31 quarter windows were part of the quarter panel...

 

Why wouldn't you use a 28-29 top?

30/31 top can be made to work but sticks out like a sore thumb.

28/29 Coupe top will bolt right on but good luck finding one. The last one I found the guy wanted practically more than a whole coupe body is worth and he got it.

If I were you I would embrace the sport coupeness and build the sport coupe with original top. Not a lot of those built as neat traditional hot rods.
