Hot Rods Changed my 36 3 Window back to traditional

    Yeah, that's the plan for trim rings. I cant decide on the smooth or ribbed design. Leaning towards the ribbed. Also, I may put the stainless trim on the running boards as well to brighten it up a bit.

    In my opinion cars should look like old cars and not rocket ships like many Streetrods do. All cars I build have all the chrome and stainless they left the factory with and modern drive trains and creature comforts.


    I think my 60 Pontiac Bubbletop (avatar) and 63 Biscayne look pretty good that way. IMG_0812.JPG

  9. Smooth trim rings, no body in the 50's used ribbed ones, drop it in back , add some skirts, chop the top for traditional custom look.
