I recently made some changes to my '32 roadster. I painted the wheels black, changed hubcaps, changed to a 3" chopped windshield (was 2"), added a Super Ray Cross Country roadlamp (N.O.S. from 1940) and several other tweaks to change the look............Mike

    Looks good.

Is it the same top? Does it fit both the 2" and 3" chopped screens?

Very nice, I liked your car before, but now, wow. Isn't it suprising what a few small changes do for the overall look of a car. The devil is in the details. Your car looks fantastic now.

The green wheels really looked like ****, the black looks so much nicer. And I love the driving light, very cl***y. Any plans to paint the car to match the wheels?

Thanks for the compliments....Rudy, are you working on anything new?....4ever4 ,The roof only needed minor tweaking....Royalshifter,I think all colors ran their course in the 80's.Actually,aluminum wheels were the choice of the '80's....Squablow, I have enough work keeping my Vicky shiney so I won't be painting this one soon.Besides, my intention was to have an old time, tradditional look.

I like it, what size are the wheels they look like 16's but the tyres look smaller, or maybe your just up higher in the rear than I am. I still liked it with the green tho.

you got to tweak them often of you can get bored with them. looks great.

I've always liked your car. It's tasteful and has some nice touches. The black teeth on the grille insert look great. The wheels look better in black. I really like the look of the tires.

The single driving lamp is a great old piece, but it spoils the symmetry of the front end, and it detracts from the lines of the car.

I'd like to see it without the driving lamp, with a straight front spreader bar that's painted black.

Yeah- the black wheels give it a more sinister, vintage look.

    Very nice.

I never did like lime green paint anyway but the black fits the car perfect.

Thanks Dave. I tried the straight spreader and didn't like it.As far as symmetry, you remember when these cars only had 1 tail light? I guess it's all in someone's personal preference. By the way, BE NICE, I'm wearing one of your t-shirts as I write this !.........Mike

Okay, then try hanging the shirt over the driving lamp and the spreader bar.

    (annoying smiley face goes here)

I've got both the white and the black T's,so should I use the black one? By the way,did you e-mail Pete Chapoiuris and tell him that you didn't like the single driving/fog light look that he uses quite often? I've got a N.O.S. set of King Bee foglamps wrapped in 1947 newspaper and in original boxes. I'm going to put them on my '34 Vicky.....Mike

flatoz,I'm glad you like it. I run 16" wheels and the rear tires are 7:50X16 Firestones. They're the tallest 16's available. How tall are your tires? I don't want it too low or I'll end up with a lowboy, and that's not my intent. It would also hide the Halibrand. I'm happy with its current stance...Mike

Thanks Larry. My quadruple by-p*** set me back a little but I finished re-doing my Vicky and roadster. I've got a beautiful rust-free '36 phaeton I'd like to do next but ,right now, I don't have the ambition. When you have time could you e-mail me photos of your stuff?..Thanks hemifarris@aol.com
