    Hey Guys,

I want to change the gears in my F1. I want to gear it for cruisin and speed. Mind you this is no drag car/truck but I wouldnt mind smokin the tires once in a while. It'll most likely ever be drivin on a trip longer that 90 min. @ a shot. Right now I believe it has a Dana 44 w stock internals. Granted it is not even on the road yet and am willing to give it a fair shake before I go changing anything. But was wondering if you guys had any advice. BTW there is a 350 chevy with a th350 trans in it, haters are not encouraged to reply.

Bob- if your out there, what do you think? BTW why dont you swing by w the panel truck some day soon and see what you think

Most likely you have 4.11s now. With that power package I would run 3.08 to 3.36 area. Both will give reasonable hiway cruise and be low enough to give a pretty good neck snap. Would recomend posi though.

I believe the rear is a dana 41. As far as I know it is the early version of the dana 44. I'm not sure if gears will swap though. A 57-72 9 inch from an F-100 will boly under these trucks with no mods. I swapped a 59 9 inch into my 51
