Anyone in the Charlotte area?? I'll be up there from May 10 - May 16th taking some cl***es with Airbrush Art Magazine (craig Frasier and those guys). Just seeing there is anything going on in that area??
Used to live there, go catch a beer and a show at either the Tremont (got into a good fight there) or the Double Door. Coyote Joe's if you are into country.
I live about an hour from charlotte, make sure ya go to the penguin and get some grub. It's been there since the 50's has good food, good beer, and a kick*** jukebox. I've stayed away from tremont for the past few years, the security were skinheads of the wrose kind last time I went and that didn't go to well since ALL of them had beef with me from a previous incident. Check online to see if any shows worth going to are going on, luckystiff might know of more to do since he used to spend alot of time in charlotte.
If the weather looks nice I might make the drive up in the "A". SO is there any cruise spots or anything up that way?
Sounds like a Randaddy night to me. On Thursdays (I think) they have a cruise-in somwhere in South Concord, right down the road from Charlotte. They moved it a couple of times so it would be hard to tell you where, but they had a ****load of nice cars.
It'll be the first road trip for me in teh car. I haev still got to go pick it up form Ohio this weekend.

my buddy Igor who is a crazy ****ing striper will be down that whole week as well for the paint thingy. i'd like to do it but i'm to broke from other stuff. as switchblade said be sure to check out The Pengiun. i'll check the schedules and see if there's anything going on. i'm over in hickory about 30-40 miles away. worked at a tattoo shop in charlotte for a while and still make it down there a lot. i'm sure the Howlers will be out and about in charlotte at some point that week since Igor's gonna be down. hell i may even take a few vacation days. i will say that a coupla guys from the tattoo shop took the cl*** a coupla years ago. learned a bit but also said they rushed through some stuff a little to quick. i still would have liked to have taken it. maybe i'll finish the lace panel tank before then and igor and stripe it. need any info pm me...ken....
Yeah I am a learning striper so I figure mayeb I can learn a little in the cl***es. It hard to teach yourself some of the tricks!! I would for sure like together and have a beer with a few folks and maybe even hit a cruise or something

I might try to get a littl ebit of work done on the 53 and get a coat of tinted primer or basecoat on it to last me the summer, and I'd like to get some striping done....I dunno how much $$ I could lay out for it though so i need to get an idea of what to expect. we need to get together sometime soon too you ****.

Go to the Penguine and get the fried pickles.. The Room is a great little joint.. last time I was down there I saw Dexter Romwebber Duo and The Belmont *******s.. great bar btw. The Tremont is a good venue midsized shows.. but can't imagen going there for a beer.
