Technical Chasing miscellaneous noises, squeaks and rattles

    You can isolate some of them by having you or someone else drive and then closely listen for the leak location. You can solve a lot of body squeaks with rubber or foam tape, or fixing damaged support brackets, loose bolts, etc. Bouncing the vehicle can also be a way to find the location of squeaks.

    Wind noise is found the same way, listen and feel for the source of the air.

    Go under the car and look for loose bolts, evidence of parts rubbing together, etc. A friend was trying to fix tire rub on his car by replacing parts. I asked if he looked to see where it was rubbing and he hadn't. Doing a good visual check is an important part of getting rid of those annoying squeaks and rattles.
