Chassis length...

One of our team read somewhere tha there was a 120 inch maximum on the wheelbase for these cars.

Any idea where that number came from?
I cannot find any reference to it.

We are beginning our ch***is build tonight, so this question NEEDS an answer quickly.

That was merely one of the suggestions offered along the way, it wasn't adopted in the rules.

 

No rule on ch***is length.

 

120" seems to look cool. That's about the only reason it was chosen at random by the first three or four builders. Mine runs straight and true at 120". You may want to try longer or shorter.

 

Funny you are talking about this.. I checked my out today, now that I got the rearend mounted. 128" I was wondering what everyone else had...

 

We're building ours 120" because it looks about right and it fits inside the rear of our travel trailer.
