Thanks Tom and Justin, the iceing on the cake for me will be when I make my first pass with this thing, Here's a couple more updates, got the windshield back in the car , and I didn't like the look of the weedburners ,so I cut a set of the zommies apart and changed the angle so they didn't burn the body:eek:, Tim Jones

Those boys have been trying to get me to run the Flatcad down there-60 miles from the house! My car is way to heavy, so I'm trying to find a cheap roller gasser or FED!

If you come down this way, make sure to give me a heads up, and I'll make sure the spare bedroom is ready!

Thanks Rocky and Carl, building this thing has been more fun that I've had in alot of years:D John the HAMB drags is on my ever growing list of places to go with this car,, I'll make sure I stop by,, Buddy thanks for the offer, sounds like a plan, Even tho I was really looking forward to the good old days of sleeping in the truck or trailer, Staying in Flea bag motels, and living on beef jerky and beer, It was a blast when I was in my teens and twenties, I'm sure it would be just as fun now that I'm in my fifties ,,,,,, Tim Jones

It's just as much fun into your late sixties...NOT!! Must admit that as the years add up, "creature comforts" become more important. :p

Uh Tom creature comforts do become more important but sometimes its cool to just throw a sleeping bag in and damn the torpedoes move forward, however what they call a 2 person tent is a crock unless the two people are 8 years old, and I would only suggest to try this maybe once or twice as it sure is nice to sleep in a camper. Of course do not try this with your wife, I repeat DO NOT try this with your wife, do not even suggest it to her................<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Been there, done that stuff Carl. The wife and I camped out of the back of our Aeronca Champ for many years. Even had one of those little tents, with a ceiling fan. Now the ground is too damn hard, the port-a-pots are too far away and out idea of "roughing it is a cheap motel. Done a few of those too and really prefer a slightly nicer motel when it fits the budget.
