Hope all had a good Christmas, and have a good New Year:), , We got a lot of stuff done on Beth's intake, She wasn't happy with her welds so she had me weld most of it up , I thought her's looked good , they're on the top of the plenum box , mine aren't much better:rolleyes:, but it's all welded up now and the burst panel is on it,, now on to the 4-53 blower:eek:, got the mock ups for the new motor mount frame tabs done, just have to get them cut out and welded on, motor sides forward to remove it now, with the ****tershield and trans attached, Much easier than before, Tim Jones

Tim gave me permission to hijack his thread, so I am! LOL!

The FlatCad crew is looking for some good ole' fashioned HAMB support!

We'd sure like you to register and vote for the FlatCad coupe in the Champion Spark Plugs 'Search for a Champion' contest that starts tomorrow. Lets be honest, we could use the money to help us be the first flathead powered compe***ion coupe to go over 200 at Bonneville. The world needs more things 'flat' that breathe fire, make noise, haul *** and excite the m***es - and we plan on delivering just that!

Our Entry: - you can vote once a day, so do :D

Dates: January 6th - February 2 . . . if we make it to a Top 15 finalist, we'll be begging for more support. :)

    http://alwaysachampion.com/search-fo...4#.Usltv_RDtuJ

Voting Registration: - Yes, you have to register, not a big deal . . . its the 'rules'

    https://alwaysachampion.com/search-f...register/voter

Purpose: We'd like to show Champion and the entire racing community that a traditional, totally bad-*** engine stuffed in what once was Dad's old 'grocery getter' coupe, built buy a talented team of average guys . . . who all came together on the HAMB - is exactly what they should care about and WANT to sponsor. Why the hell not?

So hey gang, check it out . . . we appreciate all the support you've given us over the years!

    Thank You!

Tim just a personal comment, would like to see ya move the attachment point to the rear and make a solid piece welded to the ch***is with the two bolts ya may have some movement at the rear under load, and if ya mount it to the rear you can get the engine out easier....pic...

Female (8 weeks)and still arguing about the name, arrives Sun at 6pm from TN. Breeder called the other day and offered a deal on 2, and we talked about it for a long time but dble the ***ociated cost and time to do it right and then there is the cat issue, I did not want to chance making any mistakes by taking on more than I could handle time and money wise

Sonnds like the smart way to go about things,They need room to run, Our dog yard is just about an acre with 6 foot fence and fence buried all along the edge for diggers, ( don't need a pack of sled dogs running loose in cattle country):D,,,Great blood line, I'm sure pics the Kristari dogs are in a few of the siberian husky books we have, Very distinctive look to these dogs,, Tim Jones

Bruce , we always put a clock or radio with a new pup, unless she's sleeping between you two,:) then it's all good, untill you take too long to get her outside when they wake up ( nomally about 10 seconds):D,, BTW Carl I always figured my shoes were chew toys:(,, Tim Jones

    Night #2

Put her In a smaller crate (the one she came in on instead of he larger full size one) and not a sound till about 3:30. Still have to keep her and the cat seperated. The cat IS standing her ground quite nicely

Like Bruce says, back to the task at hand, I talked to Carl about my mid mounts , But my ****tershield won't let me do the way his is and slid the motor forward to remove (See pic), But I might do a mount like we had in the fuel cars useing a saddle mount that sits on the frame rail had on with a quick clamp, I figure if they held in a fuel motor they'll hold in a old flathead:D Tim Jones
