I'm also thinking about going this S-10 route. I have easy access to a '95 S-10 frame but, it is an extended cab not a long bed. Does anyone know what the difference in length is and if it will work with a '50? TD
I believe the extended cab trucks have a 122" wheelbase, the 1/2 ton regular box 50 is 116". You might be able to make it work though I've heard of people shortening the frames they have a joint you can grind the weld down on, seperate it and shorten there if you need to. Another thought is going with a 50 long bed I think it might be closer, I'd get a tape and start measuring. ****O
