Look again Sir, that is a model A I maybe or not unfortunately have a Model T box on my 32 and I have convinced myself that it will work.
Hmm, wasn't paying that much attention. Just saw the box and thought it was another loathesome Shine pickup clone.
Friggin' awesome work on the grill insert, Matt. That's thinking outside of the box. Carry on and keep posting updates.......... please.
Thanks Mark. How have been? Truck is coming along slowly. Tons of other summer stuff to do right now, like drink beer and sit in the sun!
Hey Matt, Wow... I looked through all my pics and these two were all I could find of the jig. I will have to take one and post it. My brother's roadster does look cool tho. Ha ha
Spent the small amount of time over the last couple of weeks fixing rads. Cut the extra tubes off this five core and soldered on some patches. It holds water and will let me finish the engine mock up and get the six fired up!
Pic with the rad in and engine spaced up to where it needs to be to clear the u bolts. Needs a fan spacer.
And for those that care my son Tommy was out helping me put the rad in today. Learning about hydraulics and pneumatics. He is ten.
I'm really liking this build dumprat and regularly check out its progress . It shows what can be done with some ingenuity , good mechanical skills and a bit of scrounging . Good job , looking great !
Got a 12volt genny from a friend. Needs some clean up and a new bearing(which I had!) and will allow me to convert to narrow belt. New brushes and she paint and we are away. Cause it is pretty crusty now! Lol!
And I got the flange welded on the steering box! Next stop holes grinder and we will have steering yeah!
I'm trying to do as much of that kind of stuff as I can before I get into the main build. It may just be an excuse. Good to see you plugging along and making such good progress.
Got the seat back from the shop yesterday. It turned out awesome! Now the fold down mechanism works and I can get it fit into the truck and the seat risers built.
Hey Brad! No the grill shell is not done yet. Working on steering, clutch/brake pedals and linkage and getting the steering column in tonight. Tomorrow is rear springs and finishing tonight's work. For now it is off to bed....
Got the steering box and clutch linkage all bolted in and figured out. Pitman arm needs reamed and bent a little bit but it is getting there. Now onto dash and column!
