Cheap car hauling?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by **DONOTDELETE**, Oct 10, 2003.

  1. Anybody know the ABSOLUTE cheapest way to get a car (no engine) from Ohio to Northern Cal?
I want to buy a '40 Ford Sedan in Ohio and get it out here to the West Coast. Thanks for any and all suggestions. Jim

You didn't just steal that one in Castalia did ya? I don't know about the shipping. I'd bet thaqt a guy I know might be reasonable to get it as far as the western midwest and drop it at some other HAMBers place. He does E coast midwest stuff but somewhat strays further when he has something to pick up oout there. PM emd I'll send his contact info. He'd probly just take it home and then take it westward next time he's got somethin offa eBay to pick up out there or something. He's just a small time guy with a 20ft'er/+ wheel dolly, hauler who Loves cars.
