There have been several posts here lately about the high cost of plastic car models. If you are near an Ollie's, they have a decent selection of closeout plastic models. Most are $7.99 up to a few at $19.99 but way cheaper than retail.

Yep, it was a 6.4 million dollar buyout. They are selling 1/24th scale kits for $7.99. <y wife brought the ad home today.

There's a '40 Ford on the back of an old Dodge? truck that looks pretty cool for $19.99

Too bad the stores are 2000 miles from my home.....Maybe that is a good thing since I am a*****er for a bargain model. I am so far behind/overstocked now that I will never finish what I have already. The building of the real stuff takes up so much of my time (that's a good thing) that I am lucky to finish one model a year now.

I was big into the contest thing for years, been in Scale Auto like 9 times and in other magazines as well. I have walls full of trophies that I won.

Got derailed with my wife's cancer in 2013 and her passing in 2014. I have enough kits to last me forever and another 3 life times. If anyone needs something, shoot me a PM.
