Customs Cheap Tube Grills for the Custom guys

  1. For you customs fans who like tube grills but maybe can't find one for your specific car (and don't want to shell out big bux for a custom made one), check out what's available for late-model trucks. This guy in particular... https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_dk...4you&store_cat=0&store_name=grille4you&_oac=1
I'm not a shill for this guy, but these are very well-made polished stainless square tube grills, and are pop-riveted together (not welded) so can be dis***embled if need be for 're-arranging' or other mods.

I will warn you of one thing, don't bother asking for dimensions beyond what's in the listing, he's just a re-seller. I had to go to a car lot and physically measure that vehicle to get accurate size and bend location for the one I bought. All he could tell me was the size of the box... LOL. They come with mounting hardware, but it's vehicle-specific and may or may not be useful.

I bought this one... For 2018-2020 Ford F-150 Stainless Steel Chrome Billet Grille Insert Combo | eBay minus the smaller grill, but will have enough left over after cutting it to size to fab 2 or 3 smaller grills. I won't be able to show the results (the project vehicle is also OT), but I was impressed with what I got.

I know he threw in the words to gather more views, but those grilles are neither chrome or billet.

  3. Yeah, for sure. But I think you'd be very hard pressed to even buy the raw materials for the price. All the attaching hardware is powdercoated, and they even used stainless pop rivets to ***emble it. And if you go through his listing, it's not just truck grills, there's late-model cars too so there is quite a bit of variety in shapes/bends.

    Thanks Steve good to know.
For sure the price is right.
My future is in a '57 Chev.

Definitely some good raw material to use there for other things and depending on which grille you buy, good length and amount of material to use...

.. re-purpose for custom rear bumper grilles etc...
