I want to know about the chevy's suspension too. How'd you slam it so far? BTW, the dodge isn't a '48, it's a '49 or '50. Here's mine, without a chop:

It's a '50, or at least the trunk lid and the taillight openings are.

The Chev sits just right! I would like to know a little more 'bout how he got that sitting like that. I could so use that for my next project, a '53 Chevy.

yes I will keep you guys posted on the progress of that crazy ass dodge,I met this guy about three months ago he works at my friends muffler shop and I heard he was into the old school rides and had this crazy dodge, so I finally went to his place,a horse ranch up in the hills, I about crapped my pants when I seen that dodge, his shop is a old barn and has chopped p.u. cabs layin around, now for the lowering job on that 54 chev.no after market parts here, he raised the ball joint up on the lower control arm and cut the coils, has all kinds of travel even that low, for the back he made a big ass c-notch, pulled some leaves and made some lowering blocks, damn thing rides pretty good, no money spent there just busting ass out in the barn, Im trying to talk him into taking it to paso.

  24. Well, some thought that BIGWHEEL Model A earlier was undrivable. I give you exibit B and C.

Once again, form AND function!? Comon..........

sometimes a chop can be to much
in this case i would say it would have looked alot better with 2-3" less chop, but aslong as the builder/owner is happy

  27. This looks cool

Ball joints? is it the original suspension? Do the control arms ever bottom out? I had spring pockets in mine for a little while and the thing rode horrible. Show us some pictures!
