we went out and bought some new machinery to expand the business, we wanted to be able to offer more products, improve quality control, and control costs.

some of you ask use on the phone what kind of machines we use, so here are some photos of the press room, tool room and t*******.

the presses can do just about anything, and even sneak in some frame rails if we need to,

we added 3 new machining centers to continue to make our own tooling, and a laser cutter plus a bunch of other smaller machine and a lift truck to handle the big dies.

just a reminder that we manufacture in the usa, unlike our major compe***ors that imports from china and we continue to mfg in the usa.

i hope everyone will understand how complex the manufacturing process is at ems automotive

    ask any questions,

they may not be one in name, but they act like one. They've even given me spaces at the Charlotte Auto Fair. And their stuff is quality.

I used quite a few EMS panels on my '51 Ford. They are very heavy guage and fit excellent.
Keep up the fine work there.

Good point, maybe with ****'s costs and his markups, if small are hard to push for any alliance membership. Just a thought. EMS parts are good quality, but are quite expensive depending...which I understand from die creation and time spent to engineer. I have installed thier parts, very little to no fab needed. Thanks for the hard work EMS.

I spoke to someone at an ems display at Knoxville,Tn. about parts for a ford pickup. He said they didn't make parts for trucks. I asked why not. He just gave me a real vague answer and walked off. I got the impression he didn't have time for me and that he would rather be somewhere else. To this day I've never stopped at an ems booth good quality or not.

I'm a big fan of EMS replacement panels and have used them on mostly '49-'51 Fords, and replaced the whole bottom of a '57 Ford with them. You will not find a better fit or quality product. Also, fast shipping and great customer service. I'm not trying to kiss any *** here- just very happy to have their products as a resource for my business and happy to support a made-in-America company. thanks!

  26. I would say its because my car is an Aussy body but the EMS tail pan for my 38 coupe took a LOT of work to get it to fit.
    Doc.

Yes, EMS stuff may be a few bucks more than their compe***ors, but what's your time worth? Any time I've used EMS parts they've been good quality and fit well with little to no fabrication. The EMS tailpan was used on the '56 Ford Chopolds restored, a**** many other pieces, and a rusted pile of junk was resurrected. I used the lower front fender patches from EMS on the "Pearl Necklace", and though the stampings weren't perfect, I recognize that the 57 Ford has a very complex front fender and what I got was better than others I've seen. I will continue to use their parts exclusively.

  28. Not trying to be a smart *** but where are the Mopar parts? There are more then just Ford and Chevy out there, just sayin a lot of Mopars are starting to pop up now that the other two are getting harder and more expensive to come by, might want to consider them.
