hey everybody I just got my studebaker driving for the first time this weekend been a 10 year project. I call it the stubybaker,it started out as a 51 4 door in its other life now it's a roadster with suicide doors,350 chevy ,700r4,pwer rack and pinion steering, only thing left is the interior which will be tuck and roll.
    I hope ya'll dig it.

I'd be plenty proud if it was sitting in my driveway.

  11. Supper transformation. I'm no fan of bullet nose "bakers" but your roadster looks supper good to me.

Thanks guys it's not done yet ,the back will be lower. Wheelbase is about 82 " if I remember right. The straight on side picture it looks a little to short but in person it really looks right.

I am with you. I am not normally a fan of shortened cars, but this one looks cool.

I think the problem is that people tend to shorten cars that don't need it.
This thing is great, vast improvement. Drive proud!

Now, that's what my ol man used to call making a silk purse out of a sows ear. I like it, kinda reminds me of a hot rod bumper car.
