the greenhouse looks a little small for the body, but it really flows. I love the colors.

Damn. That's really cool. I even like the gaudy interior.

That is pretty cool. I'm not too sure that the paint is allowing it to be all that it can be, but it sure has a nice shape.

I don't know...lower it a couple of inches and it can be a snowplow..the front end doesn't work for me....but I like most of it!

  11. F-----g-A, wish my buddy down in Jupiter would have seen this before he recently cut up and scrapped his MK10. Although parts are going to good home in Street Rod projects.

Would look better if it was just chopped, lowered & a little "cleaned up", wires & a subtle one tone paint. Keeping it more 60's Jaguar, instead of applying a "50's" look with ww's and a two tone paint job...

  15. The interior, the 2-tone paint, the detail... he didn't follow "50's" or "60's" style, he did it "Fluevog" style. Just like his shoes, very stylin' without being glam or stupid (matter of opinion, to be sure).

Looks like the workmanship is incredible.

  16. That's what I was thinkin'...

  21. I once suggested tricking out a Series III Jag XJ6. I used to own a 1983 Vanden Plas XJ6. I really liked it, but all the break down myths rang true. I was dumping big bucks into an endless money pit. Still, I thought the style was breathtaking, and still do. The 350/350 conversions are still tempting. I likr what's been done with this. I could see poeple not accepting it into the kustom scene though.

  23. That man deserves some kind of award. Finally someone has come up with a use for all of those useless, discarded Mk10s taking up space in tow yards and alley ways behind run down gas stations and the garages of retired academicians.

Goodbye rotton bushings, worn steering componants,Lucas electrical and state of hopeless mechanical condition.
Hello to the scent of the wind rushing across the Connolly leather and the burlwood dash!

All it took was a fresh mind.

(I 'm really overstating this. I better go adjust my medication)

I like the car. JF's shoe stylings translate well to the jag.
Kind of a Barris feel to it. Reminds me a bit of the Golden Sahara...(sans bubble top.)

  25. I'm suprised no one has attempted something similiar with a 2 door 60's style mercedes....

Very cool. I always thought some of the old Jags would make sweet customs. This is a really nice take on it.
