ok,,...NOW you can HATE me,,hahahaha (i dunno whats up with photobucket,,but damn,,it resized the pics)
You better watch driving that around glasgow. Bubba might take credit for the paint too. I mean he got you a good deal on the trim. Just kidding. I thought you were going to run the steel wheels and white walls?
righteous holmes.....or should i say Firme'? How much will you sell it for now?? So since your not using 'those trim rings'...hit me up..lol Dirty
So now is the time to eat my words on your other painting the ride post. I think that is was the height with the steel rims that threw me off. The wires fit really nice with the NEW look. When I lived in Bell and Hunting Park in the mid 90's I saw some great cars that never left that era. What are you going to do with the old shoes?
Ahhh, now the new paint makes total perfect sense. To me, at least. Rolling spokes with the old wild paint would've been too over the top in my book. I can't stop looking at it.
Now all you need is some dingel balls and some orgen pipes in the back window for your speakers. and your all in the 60s
Dude, you ain't got enough trim, air horns, visors, antennas or continental kits to call yourself a lowrider. Lookin good though. I can't get over how flawless that car is.
no offense, but you shoulda left it as it was... yours WAS the only tri-5 chev that i actually thought looked decent, but then you go plain-jane on it and ghetto it out. to each their own though. glad you and apparently some others enjoy it and good luck.
You guys like this than check this club out. Mine cousins and girl's uncles are in this club. http://viejitoscarclub.com/
very cool ive had mine for 25 years its sat high with ralleys its sat stock with ww and stock caps just recently i dropped it and took it to paso.....very easy to change set of rims and take out the blocks,,,,,,,,,,,,,,lookin good......
Whatever happen to, "im not gonna post the finished pictures of it, due to my feelings being hurt because no one likes a red and white chevy!" ????? Huh sammy, huh? I think it looks perfect. You did a killer job on that paint. Hamb drags for Butt? Yes? Please? I mean.....after all....you did miss the NATS.
For your next project, have you considered doing up a late 40's Chevy in the lowrider bomb style? Seems like you'd be into that. I tried to get that look with my '40 Chrysler and I'm going to do up my '46 Chevy someday to look like that green Fleetline that Aeroman posted pictures of. I'm hunting down all the accessory shit right now, I've found a surprising amount of that stuff around here. And as for the people who don't like the new paint job, that red and white one is just a photoshop. Butt really did it up Ol' Skool Rat Rod style. Here's a couple pics of the finished product. It's so nice now, it's gotta stay on the matching custom made trailer.
thanks guys,,,its not perfect, but i am happy with results. its "BORN AGAIN" a new soul... ,,it has been baptized, hahaha the old car no longer exist.. Nick ,,i couldnt resist posting pics! hahaha ...im keeping the wide whites and spiders just to switch it up and will get a set of cool hubcaps too....,,i think i will keep bolt-on acessories to a minimum for that reason,(switching it up), but probably one(or 2) of those rear mounted swoop back antennas,,undecided on rocker and fender scuff trim at this point...
what do you consider a lowrider ? a gold plated 74 impala with an aztec warrior on the trunk with crushed velvet interior and a chain link steering wheel with a guy wearing a beanie driving it? haha
