I would at least clean off all the snow from them. I bet you paid more for your daily driver, than I did my house. But that`s irrelevant too.

Why would someone do this? The photos are painful to look at.

  15. I had a stock car that sat outside all winter, hated to do it but it was covered with a tarp, tucked in tight.

I thought about keeping my '50 Ford outside so the 2 daily drivers can be garaged. Nah. It's inside. But my T is out behind the shed.

  17. We don't get a lot of now here even though we are just 30 minutes from the park{they get quite a bit}.I try to drive my 56 Chrysler at least twice a week lately, but today we have freezing rain and sleet. Good thing it will all turn to rain by noon time then after 3 weeks in the deep freeze here .They say Wed. will be 60 and Thur. will be 65!!!!!.Then drop back down in to the 30s and 40s with a chance of snow. I don't if I should open the air scoop on the hood of the Chrysler for fresh air or close it and turn the heater on????You all stay safe out there. Bruce. 004.JPG

Certainly looks like a Canadian winter. We are up to our nuts in snow that started in October this year. Unusually early start & looks like a long winter. It is hard to own cars and not have a dry place to store them. Been there most of my life and have empathy. It would be worth a couple of good canvas tarps to shed the snow.

  21. Not the bbq . 68 rs ss camaro convertable!!

Bottom line to this whole thread is that if you don't have a place to properly store and protect things like this then you shouldn't own them.
And that's the polite way of saying it. :D

  23. There is reasoning that this all happened !!!!
I am not really happy about it all either!!!
Other family matters that were more important at the time of storage !!!

Couple of yard sheds for all the stuff stored in the garage and roll the cars back in. Unless the garage has been converted to living quarters or full of other cars...

  25. Let me start in 1st week of October . I generally store my cars .the first week of October my father in law fell out on the street and was hospitalized and passed away oct 25 . On nov 5 my youngest son suffered a sport injury and was moments away from death due to a brain injury and underwent tbis surgery within an hour of it happening .Spent 2 weeks at his bedside praying for recovery and consoling my grieving wife.
    The cars were unimportant !!!!
Afyer 2 weeks in sick kids hoslital it was 4 more weeks in a childrens recovery hospital.
During this time I also had to empty my father in laws assitted living apartment and look after my father in laws affairs. My wife was unable to leave ojr sons side.Again the cars were unimportant.
My son is now home and has had a full recovery .he now has a titanium plate in his head..
The storage guy gave my spots away because he had not heard from me
    So there they sit !!!!
Some things are not that important !!!
There is still a long road for us to recover from emotionally and financially
I am just making the best of it !!! IMG_7423.jpg FullSizeR.jpg

Wow, sorry to hear about your family matters. Glad your Son is on the road to recovery!
Possibly you can mitigate moisture damage to the interiors/electronics of the T's my storing the tops and windshields inside and fabricating some sort of makeshift "doghouse" style hard cover over the cockpit areas. Family first. Prayers are with you!
