Howdy, everyone. Figured I'd introduce myself before I start wandering around here looking like a fool. I'm Kevin, and I've been a gearhead ever since I can remember. I'm pretty much into any vehicle, as long as it's cool. My favorites are pre-60 Rods, and Harleys of all ages. I don't discriminate, though, since I like a lot of newer cars, too. My current project is a '46 Super Deluxe. So far the running gear is done, but the body has a ways to go. It's running a 8" rear, and a Heidt's Mustang II front end. It's got a new flathead V8 with dual carbs, backed by a C4 auto. I'm not looking to burn up the dragstrip, but just cruise around. Here's a few pics that I've got of it in my crowded garage. I'm hoping to have it cleaned up (the garage) this winter and maybe have the car in primer for spring.
I do already! I need to get that garage cleaned so I can get the body off the frame and start getting it ready. I'm thinking I might be able to have it close to driving this spring. I've got 80% of stuff I need, except time to do it. If I can get it roughed out and in red oxide, I'll wire it up and throw in some windows and call it good for awhile.
