Alright, I just picked up a 66 chevy stepside, all original, and Im trying to get her to run right. Ive changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, and carb, and the truck runs like a kitten.... when its cold. As soon as I get up to operating temp, it starts to pop from the tailpipe at idle, then runs like it has a miss in it when cruising. If you get on the gas it clears right up though. Sometimes its worse than others, and the timing and the dwell are both right on the mark. Im fresh out of ideas, and any help you guys can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

vacuum leak, leans out when choke off or at other than applied throttle, replace all the soft lines and check integrity of fittings.

thanks for the heads up, I think I found the leak with a can of carbcleaner. The gasket between the air horn and fuel bowl is leaking and the intake manifold gasket is too. Ill replace them both and see what happens. Thanks again for the help!
