I have a model and serial number off a 49-50 Chev.
    Model# 12-11
    Serial # 0121155184
Can someone tell me the year, I beleive the 0 at the front of the serial # might mean 1950 and wether this means its a tudor sedan or coupe. Thanks

might be Canadian, eh? the US chevys had letter codes to designate the year and series, such as HJ.

and the body tag with the model number had the year first, like

    50-1211

    So I can't help...sorry!

You might try asking on the VCCA (Vintage Chevrolet Club of America) chat room at:

    http://vccachat.org

You might NOT want to mention "hot rods" or anything like 'em, as they take their restoration and preservation pretty damn seriously. ;)
