I'm new to the H.A.M.B., old time hot rodder, had my first car ('37 Chev. cpe.) in 1950, still at it. Belong to V.C.C.A., Inliners, Stovebolt, and all cruise places in 50 miles of here. I live in farm country, g****s, trees, etc. all around. Love Hot Rods and being helpful to others. Building a 1932 Chev. pickup with 292 cu. in. I6 engine. Greetings to all.
Welcome C'man. We have a few things in common (besides a love for Hot Rods). I had a '37 Chevy coupe too (not my first car though, it's the one shown in my avatar (picture accompanying my posts). It was also 292-powered. Both the '37 and '50 are long gone now (sob, sob), but I'm still into the 292s (and other Chevy inliners), and am currently trying to find time to finish my 30's Chevy RPU - with 292 power, of course. I lived in CA for a while, many years ago (L.A. area), but also live in farm country now. A (very) small town in my home state of Nebraska. Got any 292 speed parts you need to get rid of? Have fun - this is a great place. BTW- I'm no youngster myself, but maybe a few years less than you. I would have been 6 in 1950 when you got your coupe, and will be 61 next month.
Welcome.... now let's see the 32 p/u! you show me yours, i'll show you mine, there's a few of us building 31-32 pickups.
