A fella over at the Chevy Talk site was wanting to know what font type our trucks had on the tailgate. Since it's a one off I offered to scan it into cad for him. Thought I would share it here too.

A sign shop can use the cad file to make a masking template, or to make vinyl letters.

If you would like a copy of the cad file send me a PM with your email address.

Do it right, call a signpainter and have him paint in the letters. Vinyl is not traditional!

I was always under the impression that the H.A.M.B. was about diy and shairing informationos for some of us with lesser deep pockets than others, though sign painters do great work and earn there money with quality, i would think that would be the last resort or suggestion, just thinking out loud with too many pain pills.

We would paint the gate where the letters would go, apply the vinyl, paint the entire thing, and remove the vinyl. Kinda the reverse of how it was originally done, but painted letters, anyway.
