Why does the starter spin the motor freely with no hesitation with spark plugs out but with spark plugs in she spins slowly and struggles to spin??
I'm trying to start my truck for the first time, any local guys free in anaheim who can help me out!!

  2. Do you mean spark plugs IN or OUT? If so, no compression is why she spins over freely.
If you mean with ignition on or off, it sounds like she is trying to fire at the wrong time (to early or late). Get a timing light on there, and you will see. If you set it up at around 4 degrees BTDC, it should fire up.
