I'm bolting on the rebuilt carb that came in a box with my engine(1971 Chevy Nova 250) and am trying to figure out where the various lines attach. There was no carb on the engine, so I've got nothing to follow. I've got the Rochester Monjet carb manual and a Chiltons Nova manual, neither of which has a clear vacuum diagram for this engine. As near as I can make out, # 5 goes to the EGR valve. # 6 to the distributor? One photo in the manual indicates # 2 is "spark"--which means, what? Any and all help greatly appreciated. Here's 2 pics:

The one at the top I think goes to a charcol filter. If they had them that far back. The spark I have heard both ways. Some say ported, others say manafold vacuum. Look through the search thing, and maybe it's on there, or try inliners web site. I've got one too, and I'll be running a 2bbl on it, if all goes well.
    Good Luck!
