I have a late model Chevy 292 straight 6 block casting number "93406004". There doesn't seem to be a hole in the block for the cam / crank gear oiling tube. The hole should be right above the crank gear.... correct????

    Confused & Thanks

GM desided it is no longer required. They get enough lube by splash, they say.
