Looks pretty cool! Now,don't just start this thread and not keep us updated! Not a whole lot of Chevy Coupe builds on here... What are your plans? Gonna put a Ford in it? HAHAHA! Sorry....couldn't resist!
denny the chevs lookin real goodgot to agree that movin the axle back is probally best...thought maybe id see you up to the estherville airport drags today
The chop, sub flooring, and planning on moving the axle back. looks like you got it dialed in. Gonna be a nice looking coupe...John
Prett primative, I took a pic of the car several pieces of tape on the door jambs, cut the roof off at the first set of tape marks and kept lowering the top down. Each time photo copying on a copy machine untill I had several different chops to look at.Looked at those pics for two weeks before I finally decided, 3" it is.
Not primitive at all. I used to use an old poloroid camera I would take the first shot and step back a few feet for the second and so on. then cut the pics apart and rearange the smaller tops tops on the bottom of the first pic. (That was primitive) ...John
Hello, I bought the 31 Chevy from Dennis. Sweet car!! I'm very happy. I have some different ideas with the motor. I have a 348 instead of the 327 that's in it all ready. Will get some pictures of it later as it gets closer to being done.
Nice floor I plan on removing my 1/8 plate floor that the former owner installed and doing some thing like yours. Lets see some more pictures. Carl
do you have any photos of your interior around the rear window? My 30 coupe is a rumble seat version and the rear window retracts... it is currently wood framed and I was wondering how to introduce metal but the framing around the window and back toward the rear is a bit complex and lends itself to being replaced with 8/4 ash. thanks
35 Master this old chevy is a sinner it has a streched 32 ford frame not really it's a set of american stamping rails
