    what year 8 lug steel wheels fit 47-53 3/4 ton AD chevy trucks

    Up though 87 should bolt on. I'm not sure about 88 and up. I'd find a set of 15 or 16 inch rims as 16.5 tires have gotten hard to find and expensive lately. Ford 8 lug wheel from the same years usually fit too.

    problem with some [most] of the 8 lug 15" wheels is the inside of the rim hits the tie rod end. i remember finding an 8 lug jeep pickup rim that had an offset that would work. i have a truck in my shop now that they added a spacer under the rim to pull it out enough to clear.

    Thanks for the info. I don't care if they 15 or 16 or 17" wheels as long as they are not split rims.
