Yep, I have yet to break a crank or main. Only cranks in SBC’s I have actually seen broken were in sprint cars. For anything I have ever done, two bolts have worked just fine. Chances of me checking it before I actually need it are slim.
I have subjected 2-bolt mains to some real abuse. Most guys I raced against scoured the earth for 4-bolt blocks.
