Hi,I'm retired and like to tinker on cars. I own a 66 Nova and have just aquired a 55 Victoria with no drive train. Thinking of putting a 302 and automatic in but being a chevy guy I have no idea what engine model or trans is best to use. Can use all the help I can get
Welcome from another GM guy with a Ford. Lots of folks put 302's in the 55/56 cars and that likely makes the most sense. Mine still has a y-block.
PLEASE, don't put in an "off-topic"/non-HAMB-friendly engine like a LS-#. The 1952-1959 Ford Social Group here is a must-follow/join. Trust me - I've had a '55 Vicky with a HAMB-friendly '65 289-C4 since 1981 and been a Crown Victoria Association member since 1987.
Don't know what you are trying to say. I'm new to this webpage and I posted a question where I thought it was appropriate. If I did something wrong,repremanding mee does not help me to correct my error.
