Got a '53 Belair Hardtop w/issues (Banged-up flipper, springs, etc.). I'm not sure if the flippers r compatible w/50-52 Chevy hardtops, I do know that 53-54 Pontiacs share a lot of body parts, but unknown if the flippers r interchangeable.... anyone have any info on this?
parts book says 52 flipper is a different part number than 53-54. I would look into pontiacs, the 55-57 models they interchange with Chevys.
I know the rooflines appear similar, aside from different part number, I'll have 2 measure 1 2 see if they are the same. They make replacements 4 55-57's but they are slightly longer & roofline is different from '53-54... thanks 4 the quick reply.
