that thing looks gnarly! i have a question for you nova guys, will the stock six cyl rad cool a 350 chev?
Since you decided to bring up the fast back novas. There is a little information if you scroll down to the bottom of this page.
No mention yet of Magnante's "Wilshire Shaker" - it was well documented in Hot Rod mag, but he's got a 'how-to' DVD now and also a book on how to build altered wheelbase cars using the Nova as one of the examples. http://www.amazon.com/Build-Altered...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1266420291&sr=8-1
Very nicely done, no wonder why you shot the photo, nice combo the white on red, I have a white on Blue 65 SS that is screaming for a straight axle transformation.
Yup: We have a well known, local Nova owner here in sunny, warm SoCal, with a six cylinder radiator, electric fan, behind a reasonably healthy 383: http://www.superchevy.com/features/nova/sucp_1001_1967_chevy_nova_corner_carver/index.html
You missed a good one! Very cool car and a story about the guy rebuilding it like the one he sold to pay for his first house! Murano pearl paint and Morbec wheels...
I posted a video on youtube of a car at the Gasser reunion at Thompson this past summer. Don't know how to link it. search gasser nova. speedracer
The noval nova from march 1966 hot rod is in hot rod september 2010 [ where are they now? ] and the car looks the same.
