  1. City: Lakewood (Long Beach)

    State: California
    Price: $125.00
These parts were removed from a bitchen 153 cubic inch cutaway engine. They were scrapping it & I kept these parts. The cutaway was prob done in early/mid 6os--Side of the block was cut open,,crank, cam, rods, side cover, oil pan, valve cover, pushrods, springs, valves was chromed. Even the carb was cut away as well as the float. It was on a nice heavy duty stand and all of it got scrapped : - (
The rest of the cast iron block was polished and had a coat of high gloss, canary yellow on it.
    1.--16" Chrome fan
    2.--7-1/8" Chrome Pulley
    3.--8 Chromed rockers
    4.-- Chromed intake & exhaust valves--1.72" and 1.50"
5.--2-5/8" Spacer (stock spacer--alum. wasn't on cutaway engine)
The chrome plating is super nice for its age. If you look close in one of the pics you can see one of the rocker arm balls--they were plastic so students could roll the engine over forever & not have to worry about metal to metal stuff.
I kept the valves because they looked cool sitting on my tool box.
If a guy really wanted to, he could make his own valve cover with a plastic window & use these rockers. Grooved steel balls would work. As far as the chrome flaking off around the pivot ball, most of it already has. I can send more pics as well.
$125.00 OBO + the ride from SoCal
    Thanks HAMB ! ! IMG_0222.JPG IMG_0223.JPG IMG_0224.JPG
