Was wondering if any of you could shed some light on some good sources for Chevy 6 cylinder parts headers, intakes engine dress up valve covers pans etc. Even though the game plan for my 48 Plymouth is to build a traditional custom still want to freshen up and dress up the 250 6 Thanks for your help in advance
Hi & welcome. I went thru a bunch of online suppliers when freshening up my 46 Chevy Coupe. Lots of stuff avilable from www.chevsofthe40s.com www.thefillingstation.com www.stoveboltengineco.com http://www.shop.cliffordperformance.net/ . Both Langdon's & Clifford's have lots of inline hop up goodies. The others have mostly restoration items. I have bought from all of the above and they are all great & ship fast. I will caution you to stay away from Patrick's although I purchased a lot from them in the past, a couple of years ago their reputation went south from many buyers not getting their items. There have been a few post here concerning them. My avatar here is of my 1957 Chevy 235 in my 46 coupe with many goodies inside & outside the engine. Will have to take a new photo of the engine soon as a new old style finned Thickstun brand valve cover (their items very popular in the old days) and a few other things will be appearing on it next week. Post a build thread if you can as we love those here. Jimmie
If your not a member, consider joining Inliners International. Lots of good info with them and many suppliers are members.
